Skalny Most [Rock Bridge]

The Janówka Valley is home to one of the more interesting rock formations, known as the Rock Bridge. Situated at an altitude of approximately 600-620 m, it features an above-normal level of radioactivity – just like the Piec [Furnace], a neighbouring rock.

In this case the rock formation is over 20 m tall, and features a span of rock wedged between two rock peaks – hence the formation’s name.
The Rock Bridge is built of Variscan granites with a vein of aplites. It can be reached from Mniszków by following the blue trail, or from Janowice Wielkie initially along the green trail, then on foot along the blue.
